Romantic Mas de la Rose Wedding, Provence

As I’m writing this it’s grey and wet outside, so what better day to share this romantic Mas de la Rose wedding in Provence. If you’re looking for a destination wedding photographer for your Provence wedding, I’m your girl! Mas de la Rose is a gorgeous intimate venue, nestled amongst vineyards and lavender, near the village of Eygalières. I’ve photographed weddings here a few times now, so I’m always thrilled to go back and know the local area well.

When I arrived the girls were getting ready and the boys, were all hands on deck, helping to hang flower garlands from the trees, where the outdoor ceremony would be taking place. Styling for the day was classically elegant, with ivory and creams and the Bridesmaids wearing stylish ivory wrap dresses. I love these dresses, they come in so many different colours and suit everyone.

I work with all of my couples to plan the right time for some relaxed couple portraits. With a destination wedding, this is often, just before dinner or at ‘the golden hour’. The light is much softer and at it’s prettiest, especially just before the sun sets and it has that gorgeous golden tone. This is my favourite time of the day for your portraits. It’s possibly the first time you get chance to slip away from your guests for a short while, so just enjoy being together and I’ll do the rest.

What could be more romantic than having your first dance under the stars? After dinner the couple led their guests onto the dance floor and partied the night away.
