David & Viv Wedding – Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons

Viv & David’s wedding at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons, oozed sophistication. Viv looked stunning in a bespoke Suzanne Neville dress and sparkly Christian Laboutin shoes. It was a fabulous intimate wedding for just their closest family and friends and it was filled with warmth, laughter and needless to say the most fantastic food ever, thanks to Monsieur Raymond Blanc and his team. I loved being part of this day, so thank you Viv and David for having me along.

Laura & Mike Married – Moxhull Hall Wedding

Laura & Mike’s day was a little bit special, it had a laid back Aussie vibe (Mike is originally from Adelaide), plenty of laughter and a group of guests that made me feel like I’d known them for ages. I absolutely loved being part of their day. The sun shone for their outdoor ceremony at Moxhull Hall, how fabulous to get married outside! Laura looked stunning in her Jenny Packham dress from Silk Brides in Lichfield and even Macca the kangaroo made an appearance.Moxhull HallMoxhull Hall wedding photographswedding at Moxhull HallMoxhull WeddingMoxhull Hall WeddingsMoxhull Hall Wedding PhotographyMoxhull Hall photography

Wedding Packington Moor Farm – Louise & David

A gorgeous Caroline Castigliano lace gown, the highest Jimmy Choo’s I’ve ever seen on a bride, Pimms, sunshine, laughter, banjo’s and the one of the nicest groups of friends and family – just some of the things I loved about Louise and David’s wedding at Packington Moor Farm. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Kylie & Wade – Engagement Shoot

Kylie and Wade get married next week at Moxhull Hall. We were going to have their Engagement Shoot a while back but ended up leaving it as late as possible, as Wade broke his foot…falling off the roof of his van…..I still haven’t found out why he was up there but no doubt it will get a mention at the wedding. Luckily by the time the Engagement shoot came around he was out of his cast and pretty nifty with his crutches. It started raining almost as soon as we met up but after taking shelter and a pot of tea the sunshine came out and we were treated to some beautiful light. I’ve got to say I had ‘outfit envy’ on the shoot, I loved Kylie’s look. I think there’s going to be some serious style going on next week.

Sophia & Michael – Wedding at East Lodge Derbyshire

Sophia & Michael were one of the first couples to book me at the National Wedding Show last year. They’re so easy to get on with and clearly head over heels in love – my type of clients. I liked them instantly. At their Engagement shoot I realised what great chemistry they have together and loved photographing them. Their wedding didn’t disappoint, it was fun, emotional and an absolute privaledge to photograph. Here are my favourites from the day.

Laura & Mike Engagement Shoot

Laura & Mike get married next week. I’m really looking forward to their outdoor wedding for so many reasons; it’s at one of my favourite venues, Moxhull Hall, Mike is one of the most chilled Groom’s I’ve ever met- maybe it’s something to do with the fact that he’s an Aussie, Laura is beautiful (inside and out) and is going to be wearing a dress by one of my favourite bridal designers, they are clearly nuts about each other and great fun to be around. What more could you ask for.

Sophia & Michael – Nottingham Engagement Shoot

Sophia & Michael have something a little bit special, they have great chemistry together, a great sense of humour and the ability to not take themselves too seriously. We recently got to hang out at Wollaton Park in Nottingham for thier Engagement Shoot and had great fun taking some pictures along the way.

Jamie & Jo – Engagment Shoot Birmingham

Jamie & Jo get married on Saturday. They wanted their engagment shoot to have a bit of an urban feel to it, so we met in Birmingham and wandered around the backstreets and had a great laugh in the process. See you on Saturday guys.

Family portrait photography in Sutton Coldfield

I loved this shoot and I love it when clients choose to have their photoshoot outdoors in a natural environment. The children get to run around and be themselves and have so much more fun, resulting in beautiful natural portraits.

We changed our location for the shoot at the very last minute for somewhere closer to home in Sutton Coldfield, as Dad hadn’t been feeling very well, and I’m so glad we did as it turned out perfectly. A huge thank you to Bobbie at Moxhull Hall for letting us shoot in the grounds. The gardens at Moxhull Hall are gorgeous right now and the children had great fun exploring. I’m spoilt for choice on this shoot for favourites and Mum and Dad have ordered some fabulous wall art that I can’t wait to deliver.

Lucinda & James – Newhall Wedding Photographer

I’m guilty of falling behind with my blogging just lately. With wedding season in full swing I’ve been incredibly busy shooting weddings, engagement shoots and with the weather being kinder (well sort of), I’ve had some fabulous portrait shoots too. As a result my blog posts are a little slower than usual.

This is a wedding I shot a couple of months ago at Newhall, Sutton Coldfield. It was the first time I’ve covered a wedding where there were only 25 guests and also the first time I’d never met the Bride and Groom before the big day. Lucinda and James live in Berkshire and were incredibly busy with their jobs so we never managed to get together beforehand, we spoke lots on the phone though and it was great to finally meet them. I love the intimacy that a smaller wedding has. Here are some of my favourite shots from the day.
