Rowton Castle Wedding Photographer
If you’re looking for a Rowton Castle Wedding Photographer for your big day, or just after some inspiration for your wedding photos, I’d love to hear from you. This was my first time photographing a wedding here and it exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect location for Tom and Rebecca’s relaxed and romantic Spring wedding. The grounds at Rowton Castle are beautiful and there are so many different locations for your couple portraits. A huge plus is the interior, as if the weather isn’t on your side, there is plenty of natural light and spaces with gorgeous big windows. Great indoor natural light is a huge plus point for your wedding photographer. It’s something I love for couple portraits if we can’t get outside for photos. Rebecca chose her two Sisters as her Bridesmaids and spent the morning getting ready in the lovely Tower House Cottage.
Getting Ready Photos at Rowton Castle
The Tower House Suite is a fully self contained cottage in the grounds of Rowton Castle. It’s perfect for staying over the night before your wedding and is a lovely space for getting ready photos.
Wedding ceremony at Shrewsbury Cathedral
After spending some time with Rebecca and her family getting ready, I set off to Shrewsbury Cathedral to meet up with Tom and his Groomsmen. I love to capture the boys arriving at church, there’s always a lot of banter, mixed with some pre ceremony nerves and I always like to try and get some posed photos of the Groomsmen, before the ceremony. Rebecca arrived at looked stunning! I loved how elegant her dress looked having sleeves, I think sleeves are going to be a big trend in the future.
Candid Wedding Photography at Rowton Castle
After the wedding ceremony Rebecca & Tom travelled back to Rowton Castle in style, in a white vintage Jaguar. I was able to capture some lovely natural candid photos of them with the car, whilst they enjoyed a welcome glass of champagne. As a Rowton Castle wedding photographer with a natural, relaxed style of photography, I’m always looking for real moments. I loved the fact that the breeze gave us a giggle when it whipped Rebecca’s veil into the air. The couple then had some moments to themselves whist I organised the guests for the confetti photo.
Relaxed Couple Portraits at Rowton Castle
After having a little time to mingle and chat to their guests, I took Rebecca and Tom for a wander around the grounds of Rowton Castle, to capture some relaxed photos of them as a couple. I like this part of the day to give you a chance to catch your breath and just take a moment to spend some time together. You don’t need to be away from your guests for more than 15-20 minutes. All of my couples tell me this ends up being one of their favourite parts of the day.
The Speeches by a Rowton Castle Wedding Photographer
Rebecca and Tom entered the room to the loudest cheers from their guests and then it was time for the speeches. I always love this part of the wedding day, as it gives me lots of opportunities to capture natural, candid photos of you and your guests.
