Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel Wedding

Not only was this my first time shooting at Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel Wedding, it was also my first time photographing a wedding in the Lake District, on the shores of Lake Windermere. When I first met Laura and Thomas, we just all clicked so I just knew that this wedding was going to be really special. I travelled to the Lakes with my pal Leanne from Blooming Lovely Films and spent the afternoon before the wedding checking, out a local beauty spot on the shores of Windermere, that I planned to use for their couple portraits.  As you would expect with a hotel that is owned by Laura Ashley, the Belsfield, is beautiful, overlooking Lake Windermere at Bowness. Laura & Thomas had a really emotional, intimate ceremony, apart from the part when a Japanese tourist appeared with a selfie stick to film there vows, which despite being rather intrusive, was hilarious. Laura & Thomas are funny, warm, kind, great fun to be around and true soul mates, I absolutely loved being part of their day.
