Your family portrait session can take place at my Sutton Coldfield studio, just 15 minutes from Birmingham City Centre, or at a favourite location of your choice, a park, woods, urban city location or even your home. I work throughout the West Midlands, however, as I love discovering new places I’m happy to travel further afield for a small charge.
Before your session we can discuss the type of photo shoot you’d like and choose a location to suit. Both types of photo shoot have their merits and their place in modern portraiture.
A portrait shoot on location, using natural light and a real environment, creates beautiful, natural portraits. People, particularly children, are more relaxed in surroundings they feel comfortable in and often view our session as a play date or woodland walk rather than a photo shoot, they quickly settle and get on with being the kids you know and love, running around, splashing in puddles, during our session I will capture a mixture of creative portraits and natural candid shots.
My studio portraits are imaginative and contemporary. I pride myself on my down to earth approach and being relate to children easily. A studio session with me is fun and relaxed. I love to produce vibrant portraits that stand out from the crowd.
I specialise in photographing children and babies. As a mother of three, I know far too well how quickly the time passes and how important it is to capture little pieces of childhood through photography before it disappears, whether its an innocent newborn or a teenager full of attitude.
