Fun Summer wedding photography at Thorpe Garden

I had so much fun providing the photography for Megan and Jamie’s Summer wedding at Thorpe Garden. Megan and the girls got ready at The Make Up House, which is on the Thorpe Constantine Estate. They then made the short walk in the sunshine, accompanied by Megan’s Dad, to the ceremony in the Yurt. There’s something so special about walking to your wedding ceremony. It gives you chance to chat to your bridesmaids and walk off any nerves and from a photography point of view, it’s gives me some lovely natural moments to capture.

I’ve been a wedding photographer at Thorpe Garden multiple times now but this was my first time where the ceremony took place in the Yurt, which I loved. It’s rustic look lent itself perfectly to Megan and Jamies wedding styling. After the ceremony everyone gathered for a confetti tunnel. The couple chose large petals for their confetti, which was great for photos. It was a scorching hot sunny day, so whilst guests enjoyed drinks in the shade of the trees in the courtyard, I took a walk with Megan and Jamie for some relaxed couple portraits. The gardens are stunning at this time of year and even though the Wisteria tunnel was no longer in full bloom, it made the perfect shady spot for photos.

There was a brilliant atmosphere all day. I loved providing them with fun Summer wedding photography at their Thorpe Garden wedding. Megan and Jamie really bought the party and everyone was up for a great time. There was so much laughter. It was such a joyful, relaxed day that I loved being a small part of.
