The Tythe Barn: An Autumn Wedding
A beautiful Autumn day was ordered for James and Rachel’s wedding and that was exactly what we got, ok it was extremely cold but The Tythe Barn in Launton was the perfect setting, providing a spectacular backdrop of Autumn colour.
This wedding was such a joy to be part of and one I’d eagerly awaited. I loved getting to know James and Rachel during the year before the wedding. James works at Twitter, so it was good to see his tweets pop up in my Twitter feed (although admittedly, half the time they made no sense to me whatsover, talking of code and design, far too intelligent for me). Rachel and I share a love of Pinterest, so as I watched her ideas and mood boards grow, I knew the wedding would be full of personal touches. It didn’t disappoint. A fabulous colour scheme of rustic purples, such beautiful flowers from The Flower Fairies. Rachel made all of the table centres, sewing fabulous patchwork fruit and owls and James, provided some awesome gadgetry, in the form of guests being able to take photo’s during the day using Instagram and everyone’s photo’s pop out of an Insta thingy printer for the evening guests to see. I’ve probably described that in a really rubbish way (sorry technical people reading this) so you’ll just have to trust me that it was cool.
But the best part of all, were the people involved – Rachel and James of course, two of the nicest people you could ever meet and absolutely made for each other. Joined by the people closest to them. Oh and did I mention the suprise helicopter ride? A day like this is why I love my job.
