Guy & Cindy – married

Cindy is originally from Zimbabwe and her heritage and love of Africa played a big part in her & Guy’s wedding. Friends and family joined them from around the world to help celebrate and little bits of Zimbabwe were incorporated into the day, Guinea fowl, which are the National bird, beautiful bright orange flame Lilly’s, the national flower and not forgetting Cindy’s close friends hilarious explanation of ‘The Lobola’ during the speeches. The Lobola is the contract between the two families when a marriage takes place and outlines what the dowry will be.

The wedding took place at Brockencote Hall and after the wedding breakfast guests were transported to Cindy & Guy’s fabulous home for a laid back celebration in the sunshine, complete with Bedouin Tent, BBQ, wheelbarrows filled with cold beer and even a game of tennis. What better way to spend your wedding day. I was made to feel totally welcome, met some wonderful people and loved every minute of it. Congratulations.
