A beautiful classically styled wedding at Birtsmorton Court

I was so pleased to be chosen to photograph this elegant Summer wedding at Birtsmorton Court. Birtsmorton Court is a beautiful moated manor house, in the Worcestershire countryside. The morning started with make up being expertly applied by the lovely Hayley Thompson before Suzanne’s Dad arrived and saw her dress for the first time, which is always such a lovely moment to photograph. If you’re having a church wedding at Birtsmorton Court, the church is on site, so it’s lovely being able to walk to your ceremony. Suzanne walked arm in arm with her Dad through the grounds and into the chapel, to her beaming Groom. After the ‘I do’s’ there was some hilarious and rather enthusiastic confetti throwing. I always tell my couples that you can never have too much confetti! The guests all made their way over to the main house for drinks and canapés on the terrace overlooking the moat. All of my couples, really relaxed, friendly people, so it was like being with friends as we wandered the grounds – they got to take some time out and just be together and I got to take some lovely, natural photos of them, win-win. The guests were treated to hilarious speeches and entertained after dinner by the fabulous Christian Fletcher and his close up magic, before partying the night away.
