When Alina first got in touch about photographing their wedding in Provence, I didn’t need much convincing, it seemed like fate, despite already being fully booked for the year, I’d kept that date free as I’d be in the South of France with my family. France is a really special place for me and we’ve been taking our family holidays in the South of France for the past nine years, so to be able to combine my love of all things French with an extended trip to Provence and a beautiful wedding, made me very happy indeed.
If you imagine glorious sunshine, the sound of the crickets, lots of laughter, kisses, happy tears, even more laughter, Russian, French, British and American accents, warm and welcoming guests and family, well, that’s how I remember Alina & Gregoire’s wedding. As my first destination wedding (apart from a lovely one for family here) and my first time in Provence, Alina & Gregoire’s day will always hold a special place in my heart, I’m so glad I got to be part of it. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Rudolph, you are both simply wonderful.
